Friend is a powerful word. The Bible states: Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly : and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

True friendship will never die. It will be there, until death do you part.

It's sad, these days so many people are calling people their friend, when in honesty that person is not their friend. Why am I saying that? It's because, as soon as a disagreement visit them - the friendship is over.

A true friendship will never be separated. Why? Because true friendship is very strong. It can't be broken.

A true friendship doesn't know the following:

1. What betrayal is

2. What is like to back your bags and leave

3. Revenge

4. Pig Blood: If you have watched the movie Carrie with Sissy Spacek, you would know what I am talking about with, when I say Pig Blood. Well, at least you will know that pig blood was poured on Carrie at her prom. Let me explain, why I have added pig blood to my list. If a person is someone's true friend, they wouldn't try to dishonor "their friend's good name."

5. Lying

But, True Friendship knows the following:

1. Unconditional love

2. A disagreement: No one agrees always. Not even husband and wife. Should a disagreement stop people from talking? The answer should be no, but some people believe it should. A true friend would never walk in those shoes. He or she would embrace a disagreement and go on living life, along with their friend.

3. Loyalty

4. Protection

5. Honesty

Again, friend is a powerful word. It can even wear the title, "best". I would never say someone is my BFF (Best Friend For Life), if I know that I hate "friend."

I wouldn't want anyone calling me their BFF, unless they truly know what a BFF really means and if they are truly going to wear the BFF shoes.

Friend = Truth.

Always be true.

Writing can be fun and relaxing and very challenging.

Writing is not easy and in my humble opinion, it's not suppose to be. Writing is my talent and I truly have a lot to learn about writing. I'm a firm believer in that no matter if you have a talent, it doesn't mean that you can't be taught. A person's talent goes beyond the basic stuff he or she already knows. There are levels to a talent. If a person stops at what they know, then they will not fully embrace the talent.

I strongly believe that a writer should always have access to the following: Belief in themselves, a dictionary, thesaurus 0r combination of both, and writing material. I tend to write a lot in my head. I have always done that.

I'm not an excellent writer. I am my own worst critic.

Does my writing tend to have errors in them? Yes. Sometimes, I can go back and read something that I have written and notice the typos or wrong word usages. I correct them of course.

If I was to read an author's book. Would I find errors, such as typos? There's a chance that I would. But, as a writer, I know that typos can occur, unaware. I know that when I am typing, I can feel when I make a mistake and I have to go back and fix the error, but that doesn't mean that a typo or two haven't escape me.

Some people, when they read a book, they want perfection. Do people realize that books don't follow grammar rules. If they did, no book would have fragment sentences. No books would have sentences that starts with And. Even punctuations would be used at all times.

Even poets don't follow grammar rules.

I'm a poet as well as a storyteller and I definitely don't follow grammar rules to a tee.

Criticizing is easy to do, but learning something about writing, should be easier.

Shout Out To: Stretching Your Dollar

In the times that we are in today, we need to stretch our money. Correction. Everyone that have connected with money, should have been a wise shopper. Wise shopping should never be obsolete.

There is nothing wrong with treating yourself to a want, every once in a while, but a need always should come first.

Thank goodness for coupons. The amount of money you can save with a coupon, can add money to your pocket. Some grocery stores will double or triple coupons on certain days or even every day. It depends on the amount.

I love when things are on sale and especially, when it's a real bargain. Some sales aren't bargains.

I believe that parents should rack up on school supplies, when they are dirt cheap.. I know that Walmart use to have sales for back to school, where 70 ct tablets were 10 cents each, 100 pack of loose leaf paper 2/$1.00, 24 box crayons 25 cents. Etc.

I truly believe that a parent, if they have the money - they should buy at least two years worth of school supplies, if they are very cheap at Walmart or any other store, because since everything is going up, stores may not be having those kind of sales anymore. "Today" might be the last time, parents get a very good bargain like this. Especially, if they have more than one child in school.

I know that some people don't believe in going to a garage sale or have never been to a garage sale. Trust me - a pro garage sale person. I know for a fact that a person can find great bargains at a garage sale. Sometimes, you may watch a show on TV or even go to a person house that have some good stuff in their house and little do you know, they have gotten the items at a garage sale. There's a saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasure."

Paint, screws, or even replacements can make another man's junk, look golden in the treasure hunter's home.

Everyone should be shopping with coupons. Well, at least the people that aren't rich. Prices of things are going up and if you notice, the size is getting smaller. You aren't getting much for your dollar these days.

Only use what you can and not waste. Eat left overs. Instead of buying lunch every day, cook. If you can't cook. Then buy TV dinners. Many of them taste good. Banquet makes some delicious TV dinners. Instead of buying those chicken nuggets at McDonalds, treat yourself to Tyson's chicken nuggets from your local grocery store. They are very good. At least to me they are.

Okay, I will shut up now. Lets make our wallets smile.
