Shout Out To: Stretching Your Dollar

In the times that we are in today, we need to stretch our money. Correction. Everyone that have connected with money, should have been a wise shopper. Wise shopping should never be obsolete.

There is nothing wrong with treating yourself to a want, every once in a while, but a need always should come first.

Thank goodness for coupons. The amount of money you can save with a coupon, can add money to your pocket. Some grocery stores will double or triple coupons on certain days or even every day. It depends on the amount.

I love when things are on sale and especially, when it's a real bargain. Some sales aren't bargains.

I believe that parents should rack up on school supplies, when they are dirt cheap.. I know that Walmart use to have sales for back to school, where 70 ct tablets were 10 cents each, 100 pack of loose leaf paper 2/$1.00, 24 box crayons 25 cents. Etc.

I truly believe that a parent, if they have the money - they should buy at least two years worth of school supplies, if they are very cheap at Walmart or any other store, because since everything is going up, stores may not be having those kind of sales anymore. "Today" might be the last time, parents get a very good bargain like this. Especially, if they have more than one child in school.

I know that some people don't believe in going to a garage sale or have never been to a garage sale. Trust me - a pro garage sale person. I know for a fact that a person can find great bargains at a garage sale. Sometimes, you may watch a show on TV or even go to a person house that have some good stuff in their house and little do you know, they have gotten the items at a garage sale. There's a saying, "One man's junk is another man's treasure."

Paint, screws, or even replacements can make another man's junk, look golden in the treasure hunter's home.

Everyone should be shopping with coupons. Well, at least the people that aren't rich. Prices of things are going up and if you notice, the size is getting smaller. You aren't getting much for your dollar these days.

Only use what you can and not waste. Eat left overs. Instead of buying lunch every day, cook. If you can't cook. Then buy TV dinners. Many of them taste good. Banquet makes some delicious TV dinners. Instead of buying those chicken nuggets at McDonalds, treat yourself to Tyson's chicken nuggets from your local grocery store. They are very good. At least to me they are.

Okay, I will shut up now. Lets make our wallets smile.
